Wow! A bit weak on the nose but develops a lot – so don’t rush it. On the palate you have a lot of saffron leather, blackberries pepper and some vanilla. 2018 and 2019 are very similar.

Youthful, this wine is expressive and far from tight, yet the age worthy structure all but begs you not to drink it so young.
These wines are always majority Cabernet Sauvignon hailing to the Mouton connection and the old “Napa Medoc” project name. The 2019 is 78% Cabernet Sauvignon but then 8% Merlot which is a bit of a deviation from the norm as most vintages l’ve tasted have Cabernet Franc as the next highest percentage. 6% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec complete the picture for this wine.
