Being the well-known historic and cultural liquor in China, Fenjiu is produced in Xinghua Cun. Fenjiu marks the beginning of China’s 6000 years’ distilling history and it is the first of its kind, a mild-flavour liquor with the pure body, mild fragrance, rich flavour and lingering finish. Fenjiu made the reputation abroad by winning the grand medal in Panama-pacific Exposition in 1915. In 1949, it was used specially for the state banquet in the founding ceremony of People’s Republic of China. The distilling technology of Xing Hua Cun Fenjiu was listed in the first batch of National Intangible Cutural Heritage in 2006.
