Took a little break from Priorat wines in Priorat. Our first go at the 2013 Dom P vintage and very happy experience the trademark gunpowder and flint after a couple of vintages without it. I really enjoyed this and I’m sure 2013 will get even better (5* in the making) with more bottle ageing. What a cracker! Boom!

Clear medium gold in color with medium plus intensity and notes of almonds, biscuit, toast, lemon, citrus peel and chalk. This wine is dry with high acid, medium plus body, low alcohol and a medium plus finish. 95/100

A rich, corpulent and structured champagne. Citrus at first, pear apple, transitions into toast brioche butter palate. Lasting finish with nutty notes, full bodied and elegant. Long finish. Overall grand.

Another meeting of the M1ll1umm gang with Juan Carlos Gallegos, this time Italian wines at Sensi Gastronomia on October 3rd. Second sparkling wine of the night, what can I say about this incredible DP? Magnificent!

I enjoyed it with some Chicken and seafood. Not the best year for Dom but still enjoyed it before and with dinner. Notes of citrus butter and apple

Absolutely stunning, so lovely but yet rich, biscuits, pear, peach, apricot, a hint if marzipan, long and steady

For birthday celebration. First time trying this big name. Incredible Champagne, although not the best I have ever had. Green apple, white peach, brioche, toast, pastry, biscuit. On the lighter side of Champagne. Nothing Wow but they are doing everything right, all components are at the right level to give impeccable balance.
