Two Paddocks – New Zealand, Central Otago

Two Paddocks is a small family owned business with vineyards located in the Gibbston Valley, near Queenstown and the Earnscleugh Valley, just over the river from Alexandra in Central Otago.

It is founded by the acclaimed actor Sam Neill who decided to plant a vineyard to cater to enjoyment of Pinot Noir and recently Riesling. For the Pinot Noir, they are following a Burgundian wine style for the low yielding, closed planted vines which are carefully hand tended and the grapes are hand-picked.
