Tenuta Mazzolino – Italy, Lombardy

The winery is located between Emilia and Piedmont, on the right bank of the river Po. This winery aims to grow grape varieties that will be best displayed due to the unique geography. The main focus is on the pinot noir as one of their aim is to introduce Burgundy to Oltrepò Pavese.

The winery has been able to capture the potential of the pinot noir which has a centuries old connection with the gentle hills . The other grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Bonarda which is a native grape.
